S7 1500 based control system for Aviation Fuel Stations at Dirab Air Base, KSA for the Saudi Military Forces

Client: Al Majd Company Warner Lewis / Egypt.

Based on a requirement to control 2 identical jet fuel stations consisting of:

• Truck unloading skids with pumps
• 2 storage tanks
• Refueller loading skids
• Product recovery system and pump

Soulintec designed a control system containing 2 separate standalone PLC systems (S7 1500) and a SCADA workstation (WinCC TIA).

The system’s IOs included 96 DI, 32 DO, 8 AI, 8 FC (Pulse input) and spare signals. The SCADA and PLC systems are connected via Ethernet networks.
